A magnificent wrap-around terrace faces Central Park, and the owners want to be able to keep the views -- yet surround themselves with a personal, lush flowering paradise.

There is a small seating terrace filled with flowering trees, shrubs and perennials, where they expect to live most of the summer.

But most of the terracing is narrow, less than 3’ wide, so except for enjoying the occasional sunrise,these plantings will be enjoyed primarily from inside the apartment.
